Photographic Portrait of Ryan Cole

This past weekend I had the opportunity to take some amazing senior portraits of Ryan Cole. I hope you enjoy seeing them below. As you can tell I had fun playing with a number of different styles: photojournalistic, black and white, outdoors and full-body poses. This was a great photo shoot, and the pictures came out amazing! Enjoy, and if you or anyone in your family would like photo portraits, then please

San Francisco Trip

San Francisco was a blast. San Francisco is a city with a lot of diversity and quite a bit of character. My dad and I got the chance to go and visit San Francisco this summer and here are the amazing pictures that we took!

-The Monterey Bay Aquarium
-The Natural Sea Otters
-The Beach
-Fisherman's Wharf

I had trouble choosing just a few of the pictures; enjoy!

Labor Day Mountain Visit

As a special occasion for the Labor Day weekend I went to the mountains. Kent and I went to visit a place near Breckenridge called Windy Ridge. This is near Alma (for those of you who know the area). We packed a lunch and hiked and took some pictures (a couple hundred!) Just as we sat down to eat these beautiful birds started swooping down to see us (and eat our Chipotle, I suspect). After we hiked we realized we were both hungry so we went to a nice restaurant in Breckenridge on the way home.

We saw all sorts of wildlife: chipmunks, squirrels, birds. We even saw some broken down mine shafts. Als together we had a great time!

Harvest Moon at City Park, Downtown Denver

Last night I decided to enjoy my dinner in the park and bring my camera for some fun shots of the wildlife. The moon is almost full so the pictures were incredible! It is a signal that the autumn season is coming.

Change is in the air, so I thought about this poem by Robert Frost.

Nature's first green is gold,
Her hardest hue to hold.
Her early leaf's a flower;
But only so an hour.
Then leaf subsides to leaf.
So Eden sank to grief,
So dawn goes down to day.
Nothing gold can stay.

Rocks In the Park

Well, since I have this new camera that rocks! I have been playing and taking some picture here at lunchtime and experimenting with different settings and such.

These pictures were taken last week at the base of a small stream and waterfall near where I work in the Denver Tech Center, Greenwood Villiage CO. I really love the texture that the water makes as it flows over the rocks. The water is always changing and in constant motion and this makes all sorts of great new patterns.
